Which came first?

Hi guys and welcome, in this post we will be discussing the centuries old question, “Which came first” the chicken or the chicken egg?

This is a question that has plagued philosophers and the layman alike, with no satisfactory answer for centuries. But luckily for us, we live in an age

In which enough “genetic and fossils” research data is available to answer this question.

So let’s get started.
First of all: we know one thing for sure that the egg lying land animals like lizards and other reptiles existed way before the chicken ever
Came about. So in strictly technical terms, the egg existed before the chicken.
But this question of (chicken or the chicken egg) is more of a “cause and effect” category. In which case for one thing to happen first something
Else, also should have happened.
It’s like this: if a chicken is born from an egg! Where did the egg came from? Logic dictates, that the egg must also have come from a chicken and that
Chicken also must have come from another egg! So which came first?
Let’s break the question apart.
There are valid arguments on both sides of the spectrum in this problem.
For example: the Protein OV-17 from which the chicken egg-shell is made of, can only be manufactured inside the ovary of the chicken.
So without the chicken, the chicken egg-shell cannot be formed. So far so good, but at this point another question raise its head and which as
To be answered first. The question is that, what is a Chicken Egg?
An Egg that is laid by a chicken or an Egg that contains a chicken. Obviously the chicken must have come from somewhere?
But! If, for example: a Cow laid an egg, from which a cat came out. Then technically, is it a cow’s egg or a cat’s egg?
This leads to the other side of the argument, which says, “That during mating two organisms combine their genetic information in the form of
DNA”. But this genetic information is never 100% exact duplication of their parents’ jeans, but instead, produce minor changes, for the new
Organism.
These changes than leads to mutation and creation of new species.
But these mutations, must occur in the zygote or very early developmental stages of an early cell. So in this case an early chicken specie,
Suppose a “Proto-Chicken” mated with another Proto-chicken and produced an egg. And from this egg because of mutation the first “Real-Chicken”
Was produced. So in this way the egg came first, from a Proto-chicken egg.
But then another question is raised, that is, whether this egg is a Chicken egg or a Proto-Chicken egg!!
We all know that, only one mutation cannot result in the creation of a new specie. The process of evolution is very slow and no-one event or
One generation, between Proto-Chicken and todays Chicken can be considered an evolutionary leap. Just like the breeding of domestic dogs
From wolves. It occurred very slowly and over the period of a very long-time, by the process of selective-breeding and many generations.
So this leaves us with two scenarios:
1.     In the first scenario, some pre-historic egg-lying organisms lead to the creation of a Proto-Chicken, and then the Proto-Chicken laid eggs in which
Mutation occurred due to some unknown factors. From this egg came the first real chicken, which then laid ‘chicken eggs.’ In this way
The Chicken came first.
2.     In the second scenario, a Proto-Chicken laid a ‘Chicken egg’ due to mutation, from this came out, the first real chicken. In this way the egg came
Came first.
Which leads us back to the original question, “what is a Chicken egg?”
We don’t need the answer of this question any more. Because whether the first chicken came from a Chicken egg or whether it came from a
Proto-Chicken egg.

We are sure of one thing, that the egg definitely came first.
